The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

Justrite is seeking a Channel Marketing and Merchandising Director to drive channel marketing initiatives and enhance merchandising strategies at distributor sites, with the goal of boosting sales and strengthening brand visibility. This position will focus on developing impactful marketing materials, optimizing product presentation, and supporting Product Information Management (PIM) systems to drive consistent branding and improved customer engagement. Key performance indicators (KPIs) include achieving targeted sales growth, enhancing merchandising effectiveness by increasing product visibility scores, expanding market penetration with new distributors, and maximizing digital engagement through website and social media metrics. This role manages a small team of channel marketing professionals and trade show support.

What You'll Do at Justrite:



  • Marketing and Promotion Material Development:




    • Design and produce engaging marketing materials tailored for distributors, including brochures, digital content, and promotional displays.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify marketing needs and ensure alignment with corporate branding. Additionally, work closely with sales representatives to align marketing strategies with sales objectives and initiatives.
    • Develop and implement promotional campaigns to drive sales during peak periods.
    • Manage the budgets for sales promotions for maximum benefit.




  • Merchandising Strategy:




    • Analyze and enhance merchandising practices at distributor locations to maximize product visibility and drive customer engagement.
    • Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess merchandising effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations.




  • Distributor Relationship Management:




    • Serve as a key point of contact for distributor partners, offering guidance and support for marketing initiatives and merchandising strategies.
    • Gather and analyze feedback from distributors and customers to refine marketing approaches and product offerings.
    • Develop training programs and resources to empower distributors in effectively showcasing Justrite products.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new distributors, ensuring they are equipped with necessary training, resources, and marketing materials.
    • Plan and coordinate participation in trade shows and industry events to promote Justrite products and strengthen distributor relationships.
    • Develop materials and presentations for trade shows that effectively showcase product benefits and company values




  • Product Information Management (PIM):




    • Support the integration and optimization of PIM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information is available to distributors.
    • Collaborate with IT and product teams to improve data consistency and accessibility.




  • Training and Development:




    • Provide ongoing training to distributor sales teams on product features, benefits, and marketing tactics.
    • Conduct onsite and remote training for inside and outside sakes at distributors.
    • Make on demand materials available for creating product awareness




  • Digital Marketing Initiatives:




    • Support online marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and website content, to enhance distributor visibility.




  • People and Team Development:

    • Manages expectations, performance and result-focused marketing programs through a team of individual contributors' roles. Initiates ongoing staff communication and performance feedback and coach managers on developing others. Supports the JSG Code of Conduct and Core Value initiatives.




Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred


  • A minimum of 9+ years previous experience in Marketing with progressive leadership responsibilities preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector


  • Strong understanding of distributor networks and retail merchandising principles.
  • Proven ability to create compelling marketing content and effective merchandising strategies.


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with distributors.
  • Proficiency in PIM systems and data analysis tools.
  • Past experience with managing a team, setting goals and priorities and providing coaching and career mentoring
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and other marketing platforms as required
  • Applies tools and processes to successfully manage budget.
  • Assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately.


Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $125,000 to $145,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
