DevOps / Data Engineer

*100% Remote role* Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / Data Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of their Azure infrastructure and deployment pipelines. They want you to leverage your extensive expertise in automation, containerization, and CI/CD to ensure scalability, reliability, and security for a highly complex, employee-facing data and analytics web application.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $80 - $90 / hr. w2

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Ability to get ground breaking team officially set up, up and running in Azure DevOps
• Proven track record in Agile software product development.
• 8+ years in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby and deployments on Azure
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform would be a plus
• Previous experience as a member of an Inaugural Dev Team or start-ups is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
