We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Transportation Engineer Team Lead to spearhead the development of our new transportation services line. The Transportation Engineer Team Lead will play a crucial role in establishing and expanding our transportation services, focusing on traffic studies and design projects. This position will involve working closely with private developers and municipalities to ensure that local transportation facilities effectively integrate with regional County and State highway systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of transportation engineers in the planning, design, and execution of transportation projects. Develop comprehensive traffic studies to assess current and future transportation needs. Collaborate with private development clients and municipal stakeholders to design transportation solutions that meet project requirements and regulatory standards. Coordinate with regional and state agencies to ensure alignment of local projects with broader transportation initiatives. Provide technical expertise in transportation design, including roadways, traffic signals, and multimodal systems. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical and professional development. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and relevant legislation impacting transportation engineering. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain within 6 months is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on traffic studies and design is preferred. Leadership experience is preferred. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in transportation modeling software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
