Student Worker for Nursing Skills Labs

10 hours per week
Hours are flexible. No weekend or late evenings.

Assist in setting up the skills labs for weekly demonstrations and skills testing.

This position involves:
* Setting up equipment & supplies for each week's labs.
* Putting items away from the previous week's labs.
* Keeping the Storage area organized.
* Keeping the Skills Lab beds & mannequins neat and organized (HE 305 & 315).
* Washing laundry as needed.
* Troubleshooting the mannequins and getting them ready for each week's labs (putting on wound parts, filling bladders & stomach, inserting central lines, applying dressings, etc).
* Being available to review skills with students as necessary.

Must be at least a 2nd semester student in the nursing program.
Must be in good standing within the nursing program.
Prefer a GPA in most nursing classes of at least a 3.0.
Must be trustworthy and dependable.
Must be able to work independently and follow directions.
* Must notify us if you will be or are working currently in another department on campus.
