Responsible to receive, stock and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments A Day In The Life
Other duties may be assigned. Transacts material movements in the system (SAP) by issuing to production orders, receiving finished goods against production orders, transfers to other site locations, and moves internally between storage locations. Performs Good Receipts in SAP against Purchase Requisitions to confirm the delivery of goods from outside sources (vendors, FEDEX, UPS, Land Air, etc) Counts, sorts and stores materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to assigned stock locations. Maintains inventory locator card by physically counting items or cycle counts as required. Performs housekeeping duties (sweeping, trash/recycling removal, filing, etc) What will help you thrive in this role?
Required Qualifications: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds ONLY with assistance of material handling equipment or additional people.
