Position Title: Production Associate
Wage: $16-$16.55/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, A, B, C Hours: 1st 6am-6pm Monday-Thursday 2nd 5:30pm-5:30am Tuesday-Friday 3rd 6am-6pm Friday/Saturday-6am Sunday/Monday- 5:30pm A 6am-6pm Monday-Thursday B 5:30pm-5:30am Tuesday-Friday C 6am-6pm Friday/Saturday-6am Sunday-Monday 5:30pm Are you interested in getting into the automotive manufacturing industry but do not have much previous warehouse experience? We have a wonderful union company we have partnered with in North Kansas City and they are looking for hardworking and dedicated individuals that are able to work 12-hour shifts and looking to grow within their roles in the company. Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow instruction sheet to properly assemble upfits into vehicles - Identify and correct defects in product or workmanship - Use hand tools to assemble and attach pieces - Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction - Ensure implementation of quality and safety procedures - Work with other associates to set up machine and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished parts - Maintain a clean and orderly work area Production Associate Requirements: - Regularly lift up to 35lbs - Stand for entire shift - Must be able to reach and grab with hands and arms - Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel as needed - Ability to read a tape measure to an 16th of an inch - Ability to read and understand work instructions and bar graphs - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Must have good eye and hand coordination - Previous experience in automotive or electrical assembly a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
