A/R Collections Representative

Arrow Sanitary Service, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring an A/R Collections Representative to join the team in Portland, Oregon.

Schedule:Monday-Friday

Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Wage: DOE

As the A/R Collections Representative you are responsible for reaching out to our delinquent accounts via phone calls and emails, taking customer payments over the phone, setting up payment arrangements, and working to resolve problems that arise concerning service or billing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Post all incoming customer payments into our proprietary operating system.
• Process returned customer payments.
• Monitor and track all past due balances.
• Communicate in writing and by phone with customers that have large past due balances to negotiate payment.
• Process monthly refunds to customers with credit balances.
• Manage end of month banking reconciliations.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Steady work history, good attendance, & strong work ethic required.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Must be able to work well in a team, but also independently.
• Must be good at problem solving and negotiating agreements.
• Superior organization and administrative skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills necessary.
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) required.
• Good math skills required.
• Experience with Excel preferred.
