We are looking for a Consumer Marketing Lead for a rare disease - myasthenia gravis (gMG) who is a culture-driven, collaborative group of highly motivated, well-intentioned individuals who are collectively looking to make an impact on the patients we serve to join us in our Rare Disease Organization (RDO) team, based in on of our US offices in Boston, MA, Atlanta, GA or Raliegh, NC.

About the role

The Consumer Marketing Lead will play a key role in helping to ensure that UCB optimizes patient value for those struggling with the symptoms and impact of generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG).

To strengthen our Marketing team, based in Atlanta, GA, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of gMG Consumer Marketing Lead. This role will be responsible for building and executing patient marketing content aligned to strategy to build awareness, consideration, and requests for our gMG brands. This marketer will support campaign development for both therapies, including social and digital assets

What you'll do

  • Supporting consumer marketing leads in the development of patient insight, value propositions, claims, creative campaigns, integrated communication plans, and measurement of consumer marketing initiatives
  • Executing core campaign materials for traditional and emerging channels including Digital Display and Social
  • Leading and managing our advertising and media planning agencies
  • Lead strategic development, execution, and implementation of promotional materials and programs - both branded and unbranded.
  • Skillfully manage content through the Review Committee (RC) process.
  • Consistently delivering on project requirements and striving for flawless execution.
  • Listen and learn from internal and external stakeholders to uncover insights to drive business forward
  • Print asset management, including vendor relationship, asset review and approval, budgets, timelines, and UCB field force Print Depot.
  • Participating in other projects/duties as assigned.
  • Managing monthly budget updates and accruals.
  • Operating at the highest level of UCB compliance and ethics standards. Compliant behavior is an expectation at UCB and demonstrated by embracing ethical decision-making practices and guidelines in all aspects of our organization

Interested? For this role, we're looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in the health sciences, business/marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of consumer marketing or sales experience
  • Solid speaking, writing, and communication skills. Ability to present to groups of all sizes, sometimes at short notice.
  • Track record of success managing multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience working with AORs to deliver tactical plans on strategy, on time, and on budget
  • Ability to solve complex problems, leveraging internal and external capabilities to find innovative solutions
  • Ability to work independently with guidance only needed on the most complex tasks
  • Ability to be agile and lead scope change based on external or internal factors
  • Possibly 25% travel

Preferred experience

  • Rare disease and/or neurology experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and success leading without authority across multidisciplinary and/or highly matrixed teams.
  • 2 years of other relevant commercial biopharma experience

This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $121,900-$160,000 annually. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
