Position Overview:



  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts, occasional overtime
  • Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hr, based on experience


As an HVAC Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, supporting building infrastructure, and ensuring our client's facilities run smoothly. You'll enjoy a varied and fulfilling role, with opportunities for skill development and career advancement.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspections, cleaning, and component testing for both package and split unit systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex HVAC systems, including steam and hot water boilers, airflow, and ducting issues, while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and system components such as compressors, circuit boards, and copper components.
  • Provide light plumbing maintenance, including unclogging drains and repairing leaks, as well as performing minor carpentry and painting tasks to maintain facility appearance and function.
  • Conduct electrical repairs, such as replacing switches, fixtures, and outlets, in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Utilize digital tools to access work orders, submit reports, and manage timekeeping and expense documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure high satisfaction and provide estimates for larger-scale projects when needed.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training and remain committed to maintaining an accident-free work environment.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or degrees a plus).
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to repair and maintain mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and complete work orders in a timely manner while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Proficiency in using mobile devices and business software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • EPA Universal certification for HVAC required, along with a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Must have reliable transportation for daily local travel between properties.
