Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Human Resources Manager.
The HR Manager position will provide direction and human resources support for the Access Center site in Nevada and will also be the backup for Florida when needed The HR Manager will work in conjunction with the Access Center site leaders and corporate HR departments The HR Manager will work with recruitment/staffing to ensure recruitment goals are met The HR Manager supports operational objectives by achievement of program specific recruitment and site retention goals The HR Manager will also assess and anticipate HR related needs Communicating needs proactively with Corporate HR the access center site leaders and develop integrated solutions This role will be on-site full time at the Nevada Access Center.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as a human resources liaison for the Access Center site
- Provides coaching and support to supervisors to ensure agents are managed in a way that ensures customer service deliverables are met and standards are adhered to
- Assist Recruitment/Staffing with local programs that attract retain and engage employees
- Responsible for ensuring information is consistently reported to all employees regarding benefits company policy etc
- Assists in the coordination of the recruitment and hiring logistics for the access center site
- Interviews and assists in the selection of employees to fill vacant positions
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues Conducts effective thorough and objective investigations and recommends disciplinary actions; consults with Employee Relations as necessary
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to access center site leadership regarding coaching counseling and career development
- Works closely with access center site leadership and human resources to promote management practices that build and maintain a positive work environment and promote high morale amongst all staff to increase employee engagement and retention
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to practice/access center site leadership
- Interacts with the Corporate Human Resources Department on all human resources recruitment and payroll issues
- Creates position descriptions including new roles that are unique and are outside of existing descriptions and submits to Compensation for classification
- Assists in the administration of HR programs procedures and plans used to carry out HR policies and procedures
- Participates in access center site meetings with senior administration
- Is prepared to discuss the status of all transactions as well as advise on processes for upcoming potential issues
- Handles general administrative responsibilities; and assists other HR functional areas as required
Miscellaneous
- Keep up on Legislative and Industry changes that may affect how we conduct business
- Assist with special projects as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree and 5 7 years of HR generalist experience; strong knowledge of Employee Labor Relations required. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World Excel Access PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective verbal written and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Strong time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to project manage and to multitask while paying attention to details is essential. Strong analytical problem solving and consultative skills. Strong follow up skills. Ability to analyze interpret and utilize data to formulate recommendations.
