We have partnered with a leader in mechanical and electrical construction, industrial and energy infrastructure, and building services in need of an experienced Commercial Maintenance Technician to join their passionate team. If you have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and bring at least 3 years of related experience, we'd love to meet you! Pay: $26 - $31 per hour 1st Shift Hours: Tuesday - Friday (7 AM - 3:30 PM) + Saturdays (8 AM - 4:30 PM) Requirements: GED or Equivalent two-year college or technical trade school; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. 3+ years of commercial experience including electrical plumbing, and carpentry. Strong problem-solving, analytical, writing, communication, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to stand, stoop, bend, crawl, and lift 50 pounds. A valid driver's license. Willingness to work overtime as needed. As a Commercial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance work orders and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time. This includes light electrical work, such as emergency lights, exit signs, and lamp sweeps, as well as maintaining and repairing plumbing systems. You'll also be responsible for repairing and maintaining the interior and exterior finishes of the building, including painting, touch-ups, trim work, and tile repairs. In addition, you will operate scissor or boom lifts and work from ladders to replace light bulbs and hang banners. Other duties will include general maintenance tasks like removing trash, performing minor landscaping, and ensuring the facility is clean and well-kept. You will also complete and submit maintenance paperwork accurately and on time and perform other duties as assigned to ensure the property remains in optimal condition. The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
