Quality Technician

Position Description:


We are looking for a Quality Technician to join our team in Lancaster, NY. In this position, you will be responsible for auditing and monitoring quality requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Conduct inspections at First Article, PPAP, in-process, in-coming and completes the final inspections.
* Measure product conformance utilizing CMM (Creaform/Polyworks), and Virtek Laser Inspection machine.
* Create and edit CMM programs using Polyworks.
* Perform PPAP, and First Article inspections to support the component qualification process.
* Read and interpret specifications and part prints.
* Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Communicate with project engineers to ensure schematics follow the final product.

Position Requirements:


* High school diploma or GED required (some college preferred)
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality related position
* Able to accurately use micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
* ASME GD&T Proficient
* MS Office Experience
* Good communication skills
* Detail oriented

Salary: $23.22 to $34.84 hourly (reflects the entire pay rate). A starting salary higher than $23.22 (minimum pay rate) hourly is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale
