Position Overview:

Mosaic is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as our Regional Vice President for the Central region. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for operational excellence, a proven ability to drive results, and will positively impact the lives of the people we serve. Growth, expanded service delivery, and customer experience will be core pillars of this role. This role will be a part of our Senior Leadership Team, offering you the opportunity to shape the future of our region by overseeing strategic development and operational initiatives that will help take Mosaic into the next century of service. This role will have a residency requirement in the state of Iowa.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee strategy development and execution to ensure quality service delivery, fiscal performance, and an exceptional employee experience. Serve as a key leader for organizational-wide goals and regional initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead, coach, and mentor operational directors to achieve growth, revenue, and margin targets. Ensure alignment with the organization's leadership practices to foster a strong workforce and support regional operations.
  • Resource Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and effectively utilize available resources, driving the execution of key strategies and initiatives across quality, financial performance, and workforce experience.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure services are delivered in compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Build strategic partnerships with key state officials and external stakeholders in areas such as I/DD, Medicaid, and Vocational Rehabilitation.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and oversee the regional budget, ensuring financial sustainability while supporting the organization's growth and expansion efforts.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in healthcare, Intellectual Development Disorders (IDD) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
