What this job involves - We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Portfolio Manufacturing Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate willleverage their deep industry knowledge to lead projects and drive business growth in the manufacturing and industrials sector, with a focus on portfolio optimization and management.
What is the day to day? Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and working with regional business development representatives. Achieve sales target of $1M - $1.5M USD. Provide oversight and oversee delivery of consulting projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. Stay abreast of industry trends in manufacturing and industrials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for clients' portfolio challenges. Mentor junior team members and share industry knowledge. Desired experience and technical skills - Required Proven experience as a consultant to clients with industrial and manufacturing assets, with a focus on providing real estate advisory services Deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, particularly in portfolio services Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive-level audiences Proven track record in client sales within the manufacturing sector Strong project management skills and experience leading multi-disciplinary teams Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred 10-15 years of real estate advisory experience in consulting or industry roles, with a focus on portfolio management Preferred Up-to-date on supply chain issues with the ability to provide solutions Proficiency in space planning and ability to solve operational challenges Key Competencies Industry passion: Demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for the manufacturing sector and its evolving landscape Executive presence: Ability to command respect and build credibility with senior stakeholders Strategic thinking: Capacity to understand complex business challenges and develop innovative solutions for manufacturing portfolios Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adjust to changing client needs Leadership: Ability to guide teams, mentor colleagues, and drive projects to successful completion Business acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and their application in the manufacturing industry, particularly in portfolio management |
