Opening mid November 2024, the Courtyard/Residence Inn by Marriott Poplar Creek Complex is looking for our next great team member to join us on our Food and Beverage Team. We are committed to providing you with:

Here is what you will be doing each day:



  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the cafe on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of coffee, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and grab & go items based on projections from the daily occupy forecast to ensure product quality.
  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Make and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes with a sophisticated style.
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to food safety.
  • Input orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
  • Receive cash from guests, makes any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys.
  • Lock up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.


Does this sound like you?

You have a keen eye for detail, and respect the importance correct order delivery, an impeccably clean work-station in a hotel. You have six months of experience as a Barista or similar experience in Food and Beverage. You have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and making sure our guests have a memorable experience. Food handler certification a plus. The pride you have in your organizational and time management skills will be a great benefit in this role.
