Position Title: Quality Inspector - 12 Hour Shifts
Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Sunday - Wednesday) Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Quality Inspector at a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Quality Inspector Responsibilities: - Uphold food safety and quality standards - Perform quality control checks on incoming ingredients, packaging and teaware to ensure that all items conform to quality standards - Examine incoming paperwork, import certificates and organic documentation to ensure that everything is assembled and filled in correctly - Recognize and correct errors, communicate the errors to management, and fill in the Corrective Action forms if necessary - Ensure incoming materials are properly identified - Assist with training of receiving personnel, specifically in regard to inspection processes and GMP's Requirements for Quality Inspector: - High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in a food science or food production related field preferred - Experience in a quality assurance or inspection position - English fluency; Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred - Food safety training and experience working with food products preferred - Experience working in a certified organic facility is a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
