Sanitation Lead

• Starting pay rate at $28.09 per hour

• Work schedule: 3rd shift hours Friday 10pm-6am; Saturday 6pm-6am; Sunday 6pm-6am; Monday 10pm-6am

• Located at our Mason, OH manufacturing facility - Home of the Single Serve Sauces including Burger King, Waffle House Syrup, KFC Sauces, Bullseye BBQ Sauce, Welch's Jam packets, Tapatio Hot Sauce and more!

• Ensure accurate operation of all sanitary systems including but not limited to washers, conveyors, hoppers, tanks, filters etc.
• Supervise daily sanitation tasks such as cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, drains etc.
• Maintain records related to sanitation practices.
• Train new employees on sanitation procedures.
• Perform routine checks on equipment and machinery to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance purposes.
• Monitor water usage levels throughout facility to minimize waste.
• Participate in cross-functional teams focused on improving manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues affecting sanitation effectiveness.
• Conduct regular audits of sanitation practices to identify areas for improvement.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing/food processing industries
• Proven experience in a sanitation or equivalent role
• Strong communication skills essential for effective collaboration across multiple departments.
• Ability to problem solve independently while also seeking guidance from others when needed.
• Knowledgeable about FDA regulations regarding sanitation practices.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Adaptable to changing circumstances.
