UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources Department. The position is a REMOTE, full-time opportunity located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. *Please note, selected candidate must have a permanent address and live in New Mexico or be willing to relocate to New Mexico* The Human Resources team at the UNM Medical Group consists of twelve team members who pride themselves on being a team that works together to serve the HR needs of the UNM Medical Group, Inc. And our fun, compassionate, driven, goal-oriented HR team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us! Minimum $68,785- Midpoint $87,672* *Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience. *Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Summary: Under general supervision, supports the administration and analysis of the organization's compensation programs. Responsible for conducting market research, maintaining compensation data, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making processes. Works closely with HR and Finance to ensure compensation practices are consistent, equitable, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Minimum Job Requirements of a Compensation Analyst: High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure will be required if selected for hire. Duties and Responsibilities of a Compensation Analyst: 1. Assists with the administration of compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and annual merit reviews. 2. Conducts market research and participates in compensation surveys to gather data and analyze market trends. 3. Provides support in preparing compensation reports and analyses to assist in policy-making and salary structure recommendations. 4. Reviews job descriptions and performs job evaluations to ensure roles are accurately classified and compensated. 5. Assists in developing and maintaining compensation tools, databases, and other resources to support data accuracy and reporting needs. 6. Collaborates with HR team members to respond to compensation-related inquiries and provide guidance on pay practices. 7. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA requirements. 8. Supports the implementation and communication of compensation programs and processes to ensure clarity and alignment with organizational goals. Why Join UNM Medical Group, Inc.?
