Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $22 - $25/hr.
Electrician essential tasks:
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to company and customer safety practices.
- Attend and pass certification and training for operating rolling stock equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts).
- Install and connect wiring for lighting, devices, and building equipment, and troubleshoot production controls and automation components.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical apparatus, including transformers, motors, and MCC circuits, and replace damaged parts and connections.
- Maintain electrical distribution equipment, including 3-phase and single-phase systems, and replace faulty electronic components.
- Perform maintenance on building and parking lot lighting, emergency lights, and control systems; install wiring and electrical apparatus per NEC standards.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and manage timely paperwork related to job duties; perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 3 years of related experience or training; certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license required.
- Ability to read, write, and present information effectively in various settings; proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new computer applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical instructions and handle complex variables; good math skills including computations and graph interpretation.
- Proactive with a "Can-Do" attitude, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to customer satisfaction.
- Flexible schedule availability for days, evenings, weekends, and emergencies; maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Effective communicator and team player with good interpersonal skills; adheres to safety rules and maintains strong attendance and punctuality.
