We are looking for a US Rare Disease HCP Marketing Lead who is driven by impacting the lives of those dealing with rare diseases, highly collaborative, and executes flawlessly to join us our Rare Disease Organization (RDO) team. . The position can be in one of our three offices: HQ in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, or Raleigh, NC. UCB operates in a hybrid model.

About the role

US RDO Marketing Lead will play a key role in shaping HCP strategy to ensure UCB is optimizing patient value for those struggling with the symptoms and impact of generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG).

The successful candidate will assist in building UCB's leadership position in the gMG market, specifically leading the HCP marketing efforts for newly launched therapies supporting the Account Executive sales team in the field.

What you'll do

  • Help define and support the HCP Marketing strategy for the promotion of two therapies with two different MOAs to the neuromuscular community
  • Own the execution of all sales force related marketing activities for both therapies and gMG disease awareness, and portfolio efforts
  • Own and drive the communication plan with field sales team
  • Listen and learn from internal and external stakeholders to uncover insights to drive business forward.
  • Lead strategic development, execution, and implementation of promotional materials and programs - both branded and unbranded
  • Skillfully manage content through the Review Committee (RC) process
  • Operate at the highest level of UCB compliance and professional standards. Compliance is a part of how we operate within UCB. Adherence to compliant behavior is an expectation at UCB and demonstrated by embracing ethical decision-making practices and guidelines in all aspects of our organization.
  • Print asset management, including vendor relationship, asset review and approval, budgets, timelines, and UCB field force Print Depot
  • Manage sales force IVA/iPad based asset deployments working with creative agency, UCB Digital Factory and UCB IT
  • Provide input to, and utilize findings from, market research studies dedicated to understanding needs of healthcare providers, turning customer insights into actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the business

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in the health sciences, business/marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years of Pharmaceutical marketing or sales experience
  • Solid speaking, writing, and communication skills. Ability to present to groups of all sizes, sometimes at short notice.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, leveraging internal and external capabilities to find innovative solutions
  • Ability to work independently with guidance only needed on the most complex tasks
  • Ability to be agile and lead scope change based on external or internal factors

Preferred experience

  • Rare disease and/or neurology experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and success leading without authority across multidisciplinary and/or highly-matrixed teams
  • Keen understanding of how to leverage the sales forces to execute tactically and accomplish key objectives and business goals

This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $121,900 - $160,000 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
