You agree to complete a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government and gain other clearances as deemed appropriate for the role.* Salesforce is looking for a Senior/Lead Database and Applicatiom Performance Engineer to join the Core Database Performance team. *** This is not a DBA role as it does not provide database access. All tuning and optimization happens at the application/SQL layer. *** The Core Database Performance team is responsible for Fueling customers' success by delivering high performance, high throughput database service and push the boundaries of scale while managing exponential growth in traffic and complexity. This team strives for innovating and automating troubleshooting techniques and interactive analytics, to enable tuning at scale, enhance proactive monitoring to prevent incidents,reduce cost to serve, feed improvements and enhancements back to build a more efficient, resilient and scalable platform.
