Facility Maintenance Technician

Advantage xPO is hiring a new Facility Maintenance Technician with at least three years of related experience. The candidate selected will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of commercial properties, either independently or by coordinating with subcontractors.

Pay rate: $20 - $23 per hour

Schedule: 10:00pm - 6:30am, Tuesday - Saturday

Requirements:

• GED, two-year college, or technical trade school, or equivalent training/experience
• Three years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to read and interpret safety and procedure documents; write reports and communicate effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and follow standard procedures
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Facility Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Performs scheduled preventive maintenance, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on time. Handles light electrical tasks, plumbing repairs, and maintenance of building finishes, including painting and tile repair. Operates lifts and works from ladders for tasks like replacing light bulbs and hanging banners. Maintains facility cleanliness and assists with minor landscaping. Completes and submits paperwork promptly and performs additional duties as needed.
