MRA (The Management Association) is seeking a Human Resources Data Specialist. Work with the Affirmative Action Leads and Business Partners to prepare affirmative reports and supporting documents for MRA clients. This position will report to our Waukesha, WI or Minneapolis, MN offices.

As a Human Resources Data Specialist at MRA, you get to:



  • Compiles human resources data from multiple sources.
  • Reconciles information, identifies discrepancies, and applies consistent methodology to ensure data is accurate and ready for AAP reports to be created.
  • Manages multiple spreadsheets and data sets while tracking key updates made to data files.
  • Prepares accurate, complete, and formatted data files in MS Excel using appropriate formulas and functions
  • Develops recommendations to remedy errors and mitigate future occurrences.
  • Operates computers and special software and prepares numerous simple and complex AAP and reporting documents.
  • Interact with key stakeholders, including company representatives, MRA clients, and third-party representatives.
  • Assist with state/local municipality, EEO-1 and Vets 4212 Reporting.
  • Partner with internal team to deliver and exceptional products and services.
  • Researches and suggests process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Stay current with affirmative action requirements, EEO-1, Vets-4212 and other DOL regulations.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of professional business experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Moderate proficiency with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, to include formatting data, sorting data, data imports and exports to and from proprietary software, pivot tables and knowledge of basic Excel formulas.
  • Moderate proficiency with Adobe Pro.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Data Analytics.
  • 3+ years of professional business experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Licenses/Certificates: SHRM, HRCI, CAAP
  • Experience working with affirmative action plans, EEO-1 reports, Vets 4212 and regulations
  • General HR experience
