Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Tactical Network & Computer Systems Architect, Advanced (Computer Engineering, Senior Associate) to lead and manage the daily operations of a small team and oversee the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of an Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management Enterprise Solution supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). The successful candidate will serve at the Patuxent Naval Air Station, MD site.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities



  • Perform weapons systems data network emulation/virtualization, analysis, and planning.
  • Participate in the design of the enterprise cloud-based solution and C-SCRM.
  • Analyze systems, network, and server resource consumption and control user access.
  • Install and upgrade systems software and maintain software configuration management.
  • Assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination, associated test and evaluation networks, and data communications hardware and software.
  • Coordinate and oversee the tasking of other team members, tracking project progress, and participating in planning of projects, resourcing, and events.
  • Interface with government POCs to meet contract requirements.
  • Design enterprise and systems security throughout the development lifecycle; translates technology and environmental conditions into security designs and processes.
  • Develop and maintains business, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs; develops information technology (IT) rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
  • Ensure that acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
  • Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
  • Develop/integrate cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multilevel security requirements or requirements for the processing of multiple classification levels of data primarily applicable to government organizations (e.g., UNCLASSIFIED (IL4) and SECRET (IL5)).
  • Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop a security risk management plan.
  • Coordinate with the government POCs to forecast contractor team workload and needs in an environment of shifting priorities and changing workloads in managing and executing simultaneous event.
  • Analyzes and provides recommendations to improve work processes.
  • This position also acts as the functional team lead for teams performing the above functions.

Required Qualifications



  • 10+ years of related experience in Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management and/or Project Management.
  • DoD 8140 CSWF certification no later than 30 days from performance start (GCIA, GCSA, CISM, GCLD, or CASP+)
  • Ability to interact and communicate with our clients and project/task sponsors.
  • Using available people, materials, space, provisions, must communicate project/task requirements including, goals, quality, and risk to meet the pre-defined objectives to all members assigned to project/task.
  • Interface professionally with clients and communicate effectively with project staff and other organizational resources.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-performance, dispersed team environment.
  • High degree of organization and communication skills
  • Certification in either Microsoft or Linux OS


Desired Qualifications



  • Certification in both Microsoft and Linux OS environments.
  • Experience and knowledge of Naval Aviation acquisition programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Experience with logistics.


Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education and/or advanced certification;a Master's degree will be considered in lieu of 2 years of professional experience; a PHD will be considered in lieu of 4 years of professional experience.

Clearance

All applicants for this position must possess a current Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret/SCI clearance; please note that the clearance process considers financial background aspects.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $114,000 - $180,000 per year.
