Position Summary: This position performs analysis, reporting, planning, and process improvement to support the Demand Response portfolio across all jurisdictions.
Aggregate and analyze portfolio forecasted and actual results, identifying and researching trends and anomalies to provide business driver transparency. Perform planning, gather business requirements, execute testing, and assist with roll out for implementation and integration of new systems, controls, and processes. Participate in cross functional teams to improve efficiency and organizational effectiveness, compliance, and other organizational processes. Occasionally may lead smaller scope team projects. Develop, run and maintain financial system and other data queries, and compile and analyze data for various reporting Assist with preparation of presentations and other meeting materials Track and report business and individual asset performance. Develop and deliver quality analytics and reporting as required by leadership Provide reporting and other support for joint ventures Actively seek to identify and meet business needs with a sense of urgency, taking ownership of the issues and problems until resolved Proactively identify areas of process improvement and propose alternatives
Responsibilities:

Financial reporting: Develop, run and maintain financial system and other data queries, and compile and analyze data for various reporting. Perform other ad hoc analytics as required by leadership Perform planning, gather business requirements, execute testing and assist with roll out for implementation and integration of new systems, controls and processes. Other business reporting and inquiry response, either internally to supporting organizations or externally to lenders, joint venture partners, or other third parties.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, other Related degrees. 4 years minimum experience.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), especially pivot tables and other spreadsheet functions. Knowledge of financial systems. Strong business and financial acumen. Four years' experience related to financial management, budgeting, planning, and/or reporting. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various groups to achieve business objectives in a dynamic growth environment. Ability to understand financial concepts, models and the impact of operations on investments and financial results. Ability to define issues, analyze problems, evaluate alternatives and develop sound conclusions. Strong written and oral communication skills. Familiarity and experience with wind and/or solar energy. Experience with financial query tool (Business Objects - WEBI), Power BI and Commodities XL. Energy market and product knowledge, including understanding of ERCOT, SPP and other markets. Previous financial or business planning experience.
