As the Engineering Technician, you will take on a multidisciplinary role crucial to both product testing and efficient production operations at Sentinel Hydrosolutions. Under the guidance of the Engineering Director, Leak Defense, you will work with the engineering and production teams to ensure seamless workflow, high-quality product output, and reliable product testing.

You Will:

  • Execute and document detailed test plans to ensure product quality and functionality meet established standards.

  • Build and maintain test fixtures for accurate and reliable product evaluation.

  • Assemble products efficiently and accurately on the production floor, contributing to consistent high-quality production.

  • Provide technical guidance on the production floor, assisting teams with troubleshooting and best practices.

  • Collaborate with engineers to develop specifications for custom and special applications, covering both hardware and software.

  • Conduct first-article builds for custom projects, ensuring they align with client or project requirements.

  • Assist in developing commercial application specifications to support product scalability.

  • Help engineers create and refine process control documentation for improved workflow consistency.

  • Perform software release candidate testing, identifying and reporting any issues encountered.

  • Test and evaluate prototypes to assess feasibility, performance, safety, and design integrity.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical failures, performing root cause analysis to support corrective measures.

You Have:

  • An associate degree or equivalent coursework in STEM fields preferred (Introductory Physics/Engineering, Calculus I/II/III).

  • 3 years of technical experience in a plumbing/testing environment.

  • Hands-on experience working on a manufacturing and assembly floor.

  • Proficiency with electronics and test equipment.

  • Experience building and maintaining test fixtures.

  • Familiarity with pipe fittings and plumbing components.

  • Proven experience executing a comprehensive test plan.

  • The ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.

The expected salary range for this position is $30.50 - $35 hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
