Warehouse Shipper Receiver

The role of the Shipper-Receiver is to offload trailers using a forklift, stage and accurately record shipments on the drop shipment log. There is also the responsibility ofswitching trailers and setting up the trailer yard as required.

Essential Functions

  • Unload freight from trailers using forklift Scan freight and log using control sheet .
  • Stage freight in the Warehouse Separate various types of freight (vali-invalid)
  • Switch trailers as required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Ensure Warehouse is clean, including tidying of the skids, supplies and shelves.
  • Perform SWAK tests daily
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or its equivalent

Minimum Experience

  • Experience in a warehouse, preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Forklift license
  • Ability to be switcher-certified
  • Valid Provincial drivers license

Job Conditions

  • Minimum travel required.
