As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to support our Air Way Feed Systems facility, contributing directly to innovative solutions and the success of our operations. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting pipe and wiring systems on automated feeding equipment. Job Duties: * Assemble materials on the job based on provided prints from Controls * Must be able to layout machine controls from prints, test, troubleshoot, and install 24vdc, 120v, and 480v systems * Must be able to run switch cords between I/O and I/O blocks while organizing the cables for visual appearance and optimal functionality of the tool or machine * Must be able to route cables into enclosures through cable glands or cord grips and be able to properly terminate the wires to the proper terminal * Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. * Work with Controls to communicate any changes made to prints * Check plant inventory to ensure sufficient stock of wire, fittings, and other required materials * Use shop tools, both hand and power. * Reads and follows blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions * Maintains a clean work area * Travel could be required at times To succeed, you will need: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Knowledge of electrical/automation systems, wiring, installation, and all related equipment * Basic understanding of mechanical design, controls design, and manufacturing workflow * Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and to make metric system conversions * Ability and willingness to work overtime * Basic knowledge of pneumatics a plus * Able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment * Requires good oral and written communication skills to interact with employees Working Conditions: This role requires individuals to stand most of the day and work in environments with varying noise levels and temperature conditions. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds and includes physical activities such as stooping, bending, twisting, and kneeling. In return, we offer you:
