The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to join our Personal Lines division as a Private Client Account Manager - this team is based in our Renton, WA office but our Personal Lines department is spread across multiple locations.

How you will have an impact at TPG

A Private Client Account Manager puts their client's best interests first. You are a partner who provides excellent service through stellar communication, problem solving, and client education. We don't just sell insurance at The Partners Group; we protect the assets that are most important to our clients.

You will support your book of business by finding opportunities to enhance the client relationship and retain business. A TPG Private Client Account Manager is a Property & Casualty expert who builds and maintains strong client relationships by being the first point of contact for your clients, performing reviews, and assisting your team.

What a typical day in this role looks like



  • Providing excellent client service including processing policy changes, problem solving, answering billing questions, providing information and solutions on coverage questions and changes, and claims processing.
  • Following up on difficult client claims (such as automobile total, client injury or fire loss) where appropriate.
  • Performing annual renewal reviews for all clients.
  • Find solutions for business non-renewed by the existing carrier
  • Work directly with carrier underwriters to place news lines of business with existing clients.


Key details

Location: Ideally Renton, WA or Portland, OR; in-office with hybrid remote opportunities. Open to considering fully remote option for exceptional candidates outside office commuting range.

Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Salary Range: $70,000 - 80,000 annually (DOE)

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Travel: Minimal, if any

What you'll bring to the table



  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant personal lines of insurance experience; 5 years in serving an affluent market required
  • An active Property & Casualty Insurance license required
  • Excellent customer-relations skills and the ability to provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service
  • Clear, concise, and professional communication skills to maintain strong client relationships
  • A high level of accountability self-sufficiency, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple client requests under tight deadlines
  • Self-sufficient and able to work independently, as well as in team settings
  • Experience in AMS 360 agency management system


What will make you really stand out



  • You have experience with multiple carriers, including PURE, Chubb, Cincinnati, and others
  • You enjoy meeting and talking with clients about their household insurance program and performing account reviews
  • You are comfortable making recommendations to enhance insurance program or fill gaps
  • You enjoy working on a team, and have the ability to work cohesively with a dedicated Insurance Advisor to serve clients at the highest level
  • You have an advanced insurance designation(s) such as CPRM, ARM, CIC, AAI, or CPCU
  • You have a track record of doing what's best for the client
