Summary

The Senior Business Informatics Analyst role serves as an FPA data reporting staff member solving finance and operational reporting needs for the business. This position will support the FP&A field financial support team, central office, and field operations data needs to provide data analysis and reporting to drive business decisions. Data reporting solutions are expected to move through "pilot", "department maintained", to "full IT production reporting" phases as reporting solutions mature.

Responsibilities

* Works with available company data and manages reporting information via data sources and tools to create and maintain meaningful reports that drive business decisions.

* Maintain and enhance reporting dashboards and present relevant data sets for business analysis.

* Provide financial reporting solutions in collaboration with other Finance department staff.

* Provide continuous improvement efforts in reporting solutions for traditional revenue and expense analysis tools and operational data reporting.

* Create a positive team culture and drive business efficiencies and engagement with productive and relevant information.

* Participate and execute ad hoc projects as directed by leadership.

* All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

* Minimum of 3years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years of FP&A or analytical accounting experience. Experience in the service industry is a plus.

* Experience working with finance and operations data is required.

* Financial analysis skills required with preferred understanding of accounting.

* Solid understanding of financial analysis and general accounting practices.

* Ability to identify, understand, and solve company reporting needs.

* Demonstrated success in being an effective business partner.

* Proven ability to streamline reporting processes.

* Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, SQL.

* Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse platform.

* Ability to digest data and identify reporting opportunities to drive action.

* Understanding of GAAP Accounting, finance and business operations.

* Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

* Knowledge of Workday accounting software is beneficial.

* Ability to work independently and interdependently.

* Strong Organizational Skills and self-motivated.

* Focus on continuous improvement.

Education and Qualifications

* Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or related field or equivalent experience is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
