The Research, Advanced Prototyping, and Innovative Design (RAPID) Laboratory within the Electro-Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) business is responsible for all materials, Focal Plane Array (FPA) and camera research to advance EOIS technology with government and industry partners. Selected withheld and strategic efforts are also executed in the RAPID Lab to accelerate development. The Scientist II we are looking for will be an integral part of new product development in advanced infrared sensors. This person will interface and work closely with other team members representing a wide range of disciplines and subject matter experts, including device physics, material science, readout integrated circuits, device characterization, electro-optical test engineering, electronics and system design. The candidate will be involved in the development of new infrared focal plane arrays, new Avalanche PhotoDiode based lidar sensors and 3D imaging systems.
