Associate Risk Analyst

Raleigh, NC

Join our team as an Associate Risk Analyst, where you'll
play a crucial role in detecting and preventing fraudulent activities. You'll
monitor payment transactions, investigate suspicious activity, review risk
alerts, and analyze data to identify trends. Collaborating with various Yardi
teams, you'll ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations and risk prevention
procedures. If you're detail-oriented and passionate about safeguarding
financial operations, this role is for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Monitors payment transactions to prevent fraudulent activity
  • Assists Yardi payments team with setting transaction risk
    parameters, guidelines, and program policies
  • Collaborates with Yardi KYC, Payment Operations, and
    Programming teams to proactively mitigate risk
  • Assists with monitoring daily, monthly, and quarterly
    payment transaction metrics to identify issues or problematic trends
  • Reviews daily risk alerts in the monitoring system
  • Responds to risk related inquiries as assigned
  • Reviews payment batches for suspicious activity;
    investigates potentially fraudulent activity and mitigates losses
  • Communicates with clients to gather additional information
    when necessary
  • Assists with production and distribution of fraud reporting
    using data analytic tools
  • Generates and provides the Payments management team with
    reporting and analytics

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, business, finance, computer
    engineering, or related area; or an equivalent combi Ability to positively and
    effectively interact with others and the ability to teach and coach others
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical, time management, organizational, and
    problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take charge and manage expectations with minimal
    guidance
