Supervisor-Registration

Job Summary: The Supervisor-Registration works under the supervision of the Director, coordinating all activities related to the Registration functions and assigned PSR/Floats. Supervises personnel, monitoring their productivity while emphasizing completeness, accuracy, and concerns for the patient. Interfaces with physicians, employees, and patients, maintaining positive relationships with the ability to delegate and coordinate responsibility. Develops plans for achieving objectives and standards pertaining to the PSR. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum three years of front office experience in clinical setting required. Minimum two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of LLEAP and Front desk experience required. Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Proficient use of computer, copier, fax machine, multiple-line telephones. Essential Interpersonal Skills: Works well on a team to accomplish specific goals. Ability to effectively teach new procedures, demonstrates use of equipment/supplies, and communicated very well by phone/ in person with departments' staff and outside source. Good leadership skills; approachable; good problem-solving abilities. Essential Mental Abilities: Prioritize variety of assignments, follow moderate to complex instructions; works independently with little or no direct supervision; proofread documents for content/context accuracy; recognize and appropriately report safety problems or other problem situations. Bilingual (English /Spanish) preferred. Essential Sensory Abilities: Ability to recognize faces and visual acuity of 20/40with correction; ability to distinguish colors; hearing ability to sense body sounds; olfactory sense to smell odors related to disease processes.

Licensures and Certifications: Valid California driver's license and auto liability insurance required.
