Senior Machinist

This position is responsible for producing a wide variety of highly intricate tools, gauges, jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, etc. for use in production machining

Essential Functions

• Progressively operates several types of machine tools and performs related hand and bench operations
• On occasion, produce prototype parts for engineering development and/or customer shipment
• Plans operations and makes extremely complicated set ups for self and others; on many occasions, improvising to devise the set up necessary
• Recommends changes in methods or designs based upon knowledge of metals and metal processing
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Able to hold close tolerances as outlined in the drawings provided

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of parts inspection and statistical process control.
• Requires the working knowledge of and use of hand tools, power tools, microscope, and electronic equipment.
• Must complete Apprenticeship training and have completed the Tool & Die curricula of an accredited technical institution or equivalent work experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available.
• Must be a US Citizen or be a US Permanent Residence Card Holder.

This position is located at our Pine Brook, NJ facility. Relocation assistance is not available.
