EMT Advanced - Ambulance - PRN Variable

The Emergency Medical Technician manages assessment, treatment and transport of patient in the ambulance, triage area, and/or the Emergency Department and hospital. The Emergency Medical Technician will utilize knowledge and skills up to the employees current level of licensure as licensed by the State of Oklahoma and approved by the Medical Director of IBRHC EMS. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

• Must be age 21, absent insurer approval.
• Must be able to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Records Check)
• Oklahoma Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate or Advanced license
• National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate or Advanced License
• Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support preferred.
• CPR, ACLS and PALS Certification
• Hazmat Awareness, Emergency Vehicle Drivers Training, National Incident Management System (100, 200, 700) and Traffic Incident Management System Certifications within 12 months of hire.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
• This job requires the incumbents to operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non-INTEGRIS-owned) and therefore must have a current State Driver's License as well as a driving record that meets the requirements of the INTEGRIS Health insurance carrier. * Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
