Position Highlights:

  • Position: Rehabilitation Technician (Inpatient)
  • Location: Skokie, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: full-time 40 hours per week
  • Hours: At least one and up to three evening shifts required, 11 am- 7:30 pm
  • 8am-430 pm two to four days per week, 11 am-7:30 pm one to three days per week ; rotating holidays
  • Required Travel: no

A Brief Overview:
As a Rehabilitation Support Assistant at NorthShore, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Rehabilitation Services team to provide exceptional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting therapists and other healthcare professionals in delivering rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be a vital part of the rehabilitation process and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

  • What you will do:
  • Assist the Physical, Occupational or Speech therapists with patient care activities at the bedside and/or in the open gym
  • Sort, store and keep inventory of linens, supplies, equipment and forms
  • Assist with therapy scheduling

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience: Previous experience or observation/volunteer hours in a rehab or clinical setting preferred
  • Skills: N/A
