What you'll be doing...

You'll be leading the charge on cultivating, building, and closing private 4G/5G Private Networks for Verizon Business Markets. In this position, you'll create new value for Verizon and our customers by solving their needs. You'll build and maintain the sales funnel, cultivating opportunities from discovery to close with the expectation of driving massive growth within this crucial category. In addition, you will be the technical expert for Verizon's full range of 4G and 5G Private Wireless Network services, increasing participation, penetration, and close rate. Partnering with both internal and external teams, you will ensure that our Private Wireless solutions are meeting our customer's technical and business needs for the best solution and best customer experience. Because here, better matters.

  • Shaping innovative, secure, and holistic solutions that address current and future customer connectivity needs.

  • Building trusting relationships with internal and external customers, including C-Suite and CIO offices.

  • Providing deep product expertise and understanding of connectivity, technical and business needs of customers to translate Private Wireless services into business outcomes

  • Identifying Private Wireless opportunities via prospecting, building relationships, leveraging product knowledge, and uncovering customer needs

  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure all resources are aligned to execute the sales strategy

  • Presenting to all types of audiences at executive meetings, customer demos, trade shows, and Verizon Executive Briefings

  • Meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets and initiatives

  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we're looking for...

You enjoy creating novel solutions to the complex technical and connectivity problems our customers face and understand how Verizon will maximize their ability to build robust, reliable and agile networks. You work collaboratively and are agile when customer needs change. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a focus on creating new revenue streams within Verizon.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training

  • Account development experience.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Even better if you have:

  • Capability and drive to meet or exceed challenging sales targets.

  • Experience developing and closing infrastructure and IOT deployments.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively position new ideas.

  • Persuaded and negotiated to create desired outcomes.

  • Balanced multiple competing priorities in a multifaceted environment

Where you'll be working
