Job Title: Configuration Management Analyst

Location(s): Washington, DC

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Configuration Management Analyst will be responsible to design, develop, and maintain our systems. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong technical background in software engineering and experience with configuration management tools. The successful candidate will be able to develop and maintain system configurations, ensure compliance with established standards, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • The Configuration Management Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Use written procedures to perform software and hardware builds and create releases for test and deployment.
  • Create and update software and hardware build and installation procedures.
  • Work with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve software build and installation issues.
  • Assist in automating software builds and installations.
  • Install Linux, Windows, and MacOS operating systems and application software.
  • Assist in software testing activities.
  • Conduct configuration audits.
  • Produce CM reports.
  • Document and update CM processes and procedures.
  • Perform other CM duties as needed.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:



  • Bachelor Degree and/or relevant technical training and certifications.
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of directly related experience.
  • Three (3) to four (4) years of management or internal operational/technical leadership experience.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience with SDLC, application development, and software process improvement.
  • Experience with system administration, network security, database design/management, and configuration management preferred.
