Our client is searching for a Quality Assurance Engineer that has automation experience for a long-term, contract-to-hire position in Little Rock, Arkansas.
***All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis and no sponsorship is available. All candidates must work locally.*** *Description:* As a Quality Engineer you are experienced with working in an Agile team-based environment, and you consistently add velocity to the team. You confidently use code to build reliable, trusted test automation. You also bring hands-on manual testing experience on cloud-based infrastructure and services in serverless, event driven architectures on AWS cloud. In addition, you will bring problem solving ability and experience collaborating on teams with multiple disciplines (Platform Engineers, Data engineers, Software Engineers). A self-organized and motivated individual who does not wait for instructions but takes initiative and ownership of their work, will thrive in this environment. Ability to quickly onboard and get up to speed by independently learning complex architecture will be an added advantage. Specifically, you will: *Develop and evolve test plans for complex applications. *Deconstruct solutions into tests that optimize for coverage and risk. *Create trusted test automation with high reliability and relevancy. *Extend test automation frameworks to incorporate new functionality. *Contribute to conversations around pointing, testability of user stories, acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements, and the definition of done. Technology Stack *End to end functional UI automation using modern tools such as Playwright. *In-depth understanding of API testing including API automation, .Net, C# *Understanding of react framework and unit testing concepts with React Testing Library and jest. *Understanding of .Net unit testing frameworks. *Languages: C#, Typescript/Javascript. *Experience testing applications native to cloud on AWS. *Understanding of PostgreSQL. *Exposure to CI/CD pipelines. *Exposure to performance testing and/or data testing a plus.
