Work Experience Required - Experience working with and maintaining confidential information. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred -2 years current as a registered EMT/A, EMT-1 Certifications Required - BasicLife Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Current registration with the National and Louisiana Registry of EMT's as an EMT/B Current class D license by the Louisiana DHH/EMS Valid license and registration (must be current and valid at all times) Current Defensive Driving Certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Physical and Environmental Demands Mechanical lift devices (e.g. carts, dollies) or team lifts should be utilized. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, squat, crawl and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity. Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities. Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue. The incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain diseases.
