The Role

As a Site Coordinator, you will work onsite at our customer, GM, and perform various tasks that include responding to line halt calls, new tool installations, diagnosis, and configuration of our tooling. You will also conduct preventative maintenance and maintain the calibration schedule of the tooling population, while working directly with the customer.

Site Coordinators keep customer service at the forefront and communicate with all levels of our internal and the customer's organization. Responding with a sense of urgency and ability to handle escalations directly with the customer are key parts of the position.

You will report daily onsite to our customer's, GM , Hamtramck, MI manufacturing facility. This opening is for 1st shift, flexibility in schedule is required.

What we expect of you:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a production environment, working with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling or data collection systems
  • 2 years of experience working on pneumatic and DC power tooling in a production environment
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule
  • Equipment troubleshooting and calibration experience with a mechanical aptitude
  • Experience performing quality control verification of completed repairs
  • Ability to read and comprehend schematics
  • Customer service experience
  • Efficient in computer systems, such as MS Office, and networking/database experience
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
