Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $20.50/Hour Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM ( Monday - Wednesday ), 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM ( Thursdays ) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Must demonstrate the ability to set up, run from start to finish, shut down, thoroughly clean out and prepare for change over as needed on at least one of the machines used in manufacturing - Label and palletize manufactured products - Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times - Must Walk up staircase to reach production platform - Use utility knife to cut open boxes - Operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks and barrel handlers after trained and certified - Assist with maintaining organization of warehouse including inventory control and assist with physical inventories - Clean production equipment on an as needed basis - Assist in setting up production lines and moving production equipment as necessary from line to line - Record data and information as requested by supervisor, including but not limited to time tracking Requirements For Machine Operator: - Regularly required to sit, stand, climb, walk, kneel, and crouch throughout shift, up to 10 hrs - Regularly required to use hands/fingers, handle or feel objects/tools/controls, and reach with hands/arms throughout shift, up to 10hrs a day - Must be able to repetitively lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs - Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to be forklift certified - Must have the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and averaging - Ability to read basic written procedures and instructions in English - Must have stamina to work 10 hours shift four days per week and overtime as needed QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
