Position Title: Formulator
Wage: $20.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM ( Monday - Wednesday ), 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM ( Thursdays ) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Formulator Responsibilities: - Manufacture products according to approved formulas - Open bags with use of utility knife and dump product into machines - Maintain accurate batch records and all paperwork required for this position - Operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks and barrel handlers - Assist with maintaining organization of warehouse including inventory control - Thoroughly clean manufacturing equipment after each production run - Must Walk up staircase to reach production platform - Inspect that the equipment is clean before starting a new product - Follow written procedures and maintain GMP compliance - Gain a good understanding of the equipment needed to mix the product per formulation - Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times - Record data and information as requested by supervisor, including but not limited to time tracking - Capable of measuring out liquid and dry ingredients from bags, bottles and tanks Requirements For Formulator: - Regularly required to sit, stand, climb, walk, kneel, and crouch throughout shift, up to 10 hrs - Regularly required to use hands/fingers, handle or feel objects/tools/controls, and reach with hands/arms throughout shift, up to 10hrs a day - Must be able to repetitively lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs - Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus - Ability to work in a team environment - Must have the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and averaging - Ability to read basic written procedures and instructions in English - Must have stamina to work 10 hours shift four days per week and overtime as needed QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
