Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay rate: $31.71 - $37.87/hr.
Maintenance Technician responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical installation and maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities per diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on air and water distribution systems, including air handlers, fans, motors, pumps, and mechanical cooling/heating systems.
- Perform daily operation, inspection, and maintenance of Energy Management Systems, Building Automated Systems, and Fire Safety Systems, staying updated on their operation.
- Respond to service calls for HVAC, plumbing, lighting, carpentry, painting, key making, furniture moving, and general tenant support requests.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical spaces, tenant/public areas, roofs, and building grounds.
- Provide input for the work order tracking system, including initiating work orders, developing materials lists, and offering technical support for projects.
- Address emergency situations by troubleshooting and repairing issues, while maintaining cleanliness of mechanical and electrical rooms.
Qualifications:
- Must possess the ability to perform all essential job duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations provided for individuals with disabilities.
- Requires a one-year certificate from a college or technical school or one to three months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as write routine reports and correspondence.
- Good communication skills
