Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for Part Time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Employee Health Services team in Elizabethtown, KY

The advanced practice registered nurse or physician assistant works alongside medical assistants and nurses within the Employee Health Services (EHS) program under the supervision of a program manager, delivering clinical services for various components of the program such as acute care and evaluation of acute illnesses, evaluation of immunity and initial health clearance, periodic occupational medical evaluations, ongoing occupational medical surveillance through various programs including OSHA medical respirator surveillance, tuberculosis evaluation, hazardous drug assessments, evaluation of occupational illness and exposure, and injury reduction services for the adult population across the health system. May provide initial post-injury evaluation and treatment for injuries that occur within the workplace. Services provided to minors with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
These advanced practice positions work primarily within the health clinics, potentially traveling throughout the region to provide hands-on services, which may include travel from one clinic to another during a single shift. These positions may occasionally be tasked to work from an office or from a home office. Percentage weight of job description may vary based upon assigned responsibilities. Accommodation of remote work is not available for employees assigned to primary clinic services.
The primary location for this position is at Baptist Health Hardin Employee Health clinic but may include assignments at multiple Employee Health clinic locations.
Creates a positive, supportive, collaborative work environment for EHS program staff and clinic patients following the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Collaborates with various Baptist entities to establish and promote company initiatives, to provide convenient services, support timely compliance, associated documentation and/or reporting, and to ensure continuity of care for individuals throughout the organization receiving services through the EHS program.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree
  • Two years experience
  • Professional License
  • Life Support Certification
  • Current certification for nurse practitioner (AANP or ANCC) or physician assistant (NCCPA). Applicable state licensure.
