DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position oversees the core Exchange operations functions and advise the Executive Director in establishing and implementing Pennie's strategic and programmatic priorities. This position is responsible for improving operational effectiveness and efficiency for the agency through process improvement, necessary operational controls, team development, vendor management, and proactive communication across the agency. This position manages the Information Technology, Policy, Operations, and Project Management teams. The core objective of this role is to ensure high-performing operations that promote a positive and consistent end-to-end consumer experience that furthers the organization's mission, vision, and annual goals.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may be expected to work from home (telework) full-time. You must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Eight years of professional experience in health coverage programs with direct experience in at least two of the following areas: policy, information technology, project management, or operations, which includes three years in a managerial capacity, and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes three years of managerial experience in policy, information technology, project management, or operations.
Additional Requirements:
- Pennsylvania residency is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience with Pennie
- Experience with Affordable Care Act (ACA) federal or state-based exchanges and/or Health Insurance companies
