At least 1 year of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly. Experience with manual and automated production equipment, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic tools. Strong mechanical aptitude. Background in auto, electrical, or mechanical repair. This Remanufacturing Technician position is not an assembly line role. Instead, you will work in a cell-based system with individual workstations to remanufacture products step by step. Responsibilities: Disassemble, assemble, clean, requalify, and rework locomotive traction motor combo components. Safely operate manual and automated equipment. Inspect, repair, and test completed components. Cross-train to maintain continuity of service. Inspect completed work for quality assurance. Support the manufacturing and remanufacturing of components within the facility. Properly document all work performed. Perform any other duties as required.
