DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will undertake various administrative responsibilities to support the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation's federal grant initiatives. Your tasks will include the preparation of federal grant applications, budgets, reports, and amendments specifically for Pennsylvania's Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation program. These documents will be created independently, with oversight or direction from the section chief of the administrative support section (Administrative Officer 2). The preparation of grant applications will involve a thorough review and analysis of previous expenditures, as well as projections of future spending changes influenced by project demands, equipment requirements, personnel, and other factors. You will be engaged with several federal grant programs, including the Abandoned Mine Lands Title IV, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Abandoned Mine Lands Economic Revitalization. Compliance with all application and reporting standards as outlined in federal program guidance or the Federal Financial Assistance Manual is essential. Additionally, you will be responsible for modifying internal reporting protocols and procedural practices.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- You will have the option to work from one of the following headquarters offices:
- Central Office - 400 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101
- Cambria Office - 286 Industrial Park Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931
- Wilkes-Barre Office - 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
