Hybrid role, Colorado Springs, CO. Our client is seeking a skilled BMC Client Management/Discovery Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in BMC Client Management, BMC Discovery, or similar technologies, and will be responsible for developing workflows, software deployment, patch deployment, and security compliance rules using BMC Client Management software.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance.

Rate: $65 - $75/ hr. w2



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain workflows for software and patch deployment using BMC Client Management.
  • Ensure security compliance by configuring rules and providing audit reports.
  • Maintain endpoint asset management inventory and provide operational support.
  • Automate endpoint inventory tracking and compliance for physical and virtual devices.
  • Develop automated patch and software deployment jobs.
  • Deploy endpoint agents and manage mobile devices using BMC Client Management.
  • Upgrade and configure BMC Client Management software in customer environments.
  • Integrate configurations with customer CMDB.
  • Provide technical direction on endpoint management and asset discovery trends.



Experience Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience with BMC Client Management or similar endpoint management software.
  • Strong understanding of patch management and OS image building.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management.
  • Working knowledge of RedHat, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding of STIGs and security compliance policies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for consulting with management, business partners, and vendors.


Preferred Experience:



  • Experience with BMC Discovery.
  • Experience working with VMware.
  • Experience using BMC Helix or ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of asset management and the CMDB.


Required Training & Certifications:



  • Security+ certification.
  • Certified Associate with BMC Client Management or similar endpoint management tool such as MECM.


Preferred Training & Certifications:



  • Certified Associate BMC Discovery.



Education Requirements:

  • 4+ years of direct experience with BMC Client Management, MECM, or Intune with a BS degree in computer science or related field.
  • OR 8+ years of direct experience without a BS degree.
