Acara Solutions has an opening for a Central Control Operator for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for safely and efficiently entering exiting, and diverting trains using a computer-based system
  • Following SOPs
  • Monitoring and control all automatic trains and guideway activities
  • Radio communications, monitoring CCTV system, dispatching trains for passenger service
  • Monitoring system alarms and any other functions which affect the operations of the Sky Train System
  • Responsible for the power configuration of the Electrical Power System
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all activities on the PHX Sky Train System by use of a shift logbook and pass-downs
  • Complies with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for employees, customers, and visitors
  • Maintain required certifications and qualifications as they pertain to Central Control Operations
Here's what you'll get:
Pay Rate: $23.00
Shift hours: 6 am- 2:30 pm
Duration: Temp-Hire (after 4 months based on performance)
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Computer Savvy with various software
  • Air Traffic Controller experience (preferred)
  • Can communicate effectively and calmly via radio
  • Able to Effectively Communicate clearly.
  • Problem Solving
  • Adaptability
  • Stress Management
  • No premium Shift.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Must have Valid Driver's license
  • Must be a Team Player
  • Must be able to sit for long hours (entire shift)
  • Must pass Criminal background check
  • Airport requirements must pass an FAA background and security check to obtain an SIDA access badge.
  • This position is considered "safety-sensitive" and is subject to alcohol and drug testing under Federal regulations.
